I never thought that creating and developing a blog can be work..jajaj. Well I have found a blog that can hold up pictures, videos, and writing comments for everyone to see. Let me update everyone. James and I love traveling to different parts of the world together. We have been to Spain, Italy, Germany, Mexico and now South Korea. God has opened the doors for James and I to move to South Korea and teach for a year. Everything came into place, and now we are living in this beautiful place. We live in a city called Bucheon, which is 40 minutes away from Seoul. James works at a middle school called "Bucheon Middle School." I work at an elementary school called " Bucheon Elementary School." Our schools are literally 10 minutes away from each other. Teaching is a new experience for both of us, but we are loving every minute of it. James teachers 24 classes, but it is split up throughout the week. I teach all 5th grade classes in the morning, which I see them twice a week, and it is also split up throughout the week. Then I have 6 afternoon classes, teaching the kids that are split up into their level of teaching. For my afternoon classes, I have 1st grader thru 6th grade. I love it, they are adorable. James and I are learning more korean words everyday. James brother Anthony did a movie in Korea and made some friends. We got connected with one of his friends and James was able to get involved in an international soccer team. Every Sunday he has a game in a different area in Korea.
When we first arrived it was freezing....and it was suppose to be spring, but everyone thinks that global warming kicked in. Now its May and we have lived here for about a month in a half..wow time flys by fast. It is now getting warmer by the day..i mean humidity..yes I know what you are thinking..jaja. James and I are blessed that God has brought us here. We are also thankful because one of my friends that I went to school with in Spain lives in Korea, and he told me about this Christian church. We are now attending this church called Jubilee Seoul. If you want to check out the website go to www.jubileeseoul.com
The church's focus is missions, children and community. The ages rang from 22 - 39 years old. There are Koreans and tons of foreigners from around the world. Our next step is now to get involved in an orphanage.
